SWI joint Science consortium meeting #17 and Operations meeting #5
This meeting will bring together the Science and Operations Teams of the Submillimetre Wave Instrument of ESA's JUICE mission with the following goals:
Present the results of the calibration observations performed during PCW02 and PCW03
Present the Earth-Moon flyby observations of August 2024
Discuss the impact of the PCWs and flyby observations on future observations
Discuss the process and the results of the ORB17 planning exercise
Prepare the operations of PCW04 (1st pointing campaign)
Present supporting science model and observation result
Present the status of the ground segment
Discuss the next steps in science preparation
The meeting will be held in Lège-Cap-Ferret, on the peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the Bassin d'Arcachon (see the Map page). We will organize your transfer from the Bordeaux airport/train station on June 2 and June 6 afternoons, provided that you join for the full meeting.
